Chalcopyrite with minor malachite mineralization dominating the cement of a hydrothermal breccia with K-feldspar altered megacrystic syenite

Chalcopyrite, pyrite, and sphalerite mineralization with potassic altered syenite
clasts of a hydrothermal breccia at "Green Rock"; a new showing ~175m south of drill pad "C-2" along the Burgundy Ridge Trend.
Polycrystalline
clasts of fine-grained quartzite ([M.sub.d] = 0.25 mm) occur less frequently.
The breccia consists in porphyritic
clasts within an oxidized matrix.
Sandstone and superposed red mudstone often form fining-upward couplets where the lower contact is erosional and lined with ripped-up
clasts of the underlying mottled and red-brown clay stone.
The oldest Devonian deposits exposed in the vicinity of the Borschovo Village are siliciclastic ones, such as white sandstones with trough cross-stratification and clay
clasts. However, no visible features indicative of tidal processes were observed, like mud drapes on cross strata, reactivation surfaces, climbing ripples on cross strata, etc.
REE concentration of Los Huertos Street lime mortar samples show positive correlations, as well as for Sc ([rho] = 0.75), which has a chemical behaviour similar to lanthanides, with [Al.sub.2][O.sub.3] ([rho] = 0.57), Tl ([rho] = 0.50), Co ([rho] = 0.51), and Cr ([rho] = 0.55) and negative correlations with Ca ([rho] = -0.43) and Sr ([rho] = -0.41), which suggests that the major contribution to the amount of REE comes from limestone clay impurities or from aluminosilicates and silicate rock
clasts present in the aggregate fraction [27].
In situ [sup.87]Sr/[sup.86]Sr analysis is presented in three case studies which deal with the following: (i) plagioclase crystals from Nisyros volcano (Greece), (ii) glassy matrix of single glassy
clasts from the 2010 eruption of the Eyjafjallajokull volcano (Iceland), and (iii) bones and teeth from fossil remains of the Ursus spelaeus.
All samples are characterized by a very heterogeneous fabric with a variety of different
clasts embedded in a fine-grained matrix framework.
Boulder and cobble conglomerates of the Rangeley Formation contain
clasts derived from the adjacent pre-Late Ordovician Boundary Mountains terrane.
