KARACHI -- The Silkbank Limited reported profit after tax (PAT) of Rs116.83 million for the half-year ended June 30; down 84 per cent compared to Rs745.91m during the same period last year translating into
earning per share of Rs0.01.
The
earning per share for the period under review was reported at Rs0.8844 as against Rs0.8853 for the same period last year.
According to the filing, the group's
earning per share for the first six months of the current year stood at 49bz per share, which is 20.2 per cent lower than the 62bz per share it reported in the same period of last year.
Sturm, Ruger & Company Inc (NYSE:RGR) on Wednesday reported for the first quarter of 2019, a net income and comprehensive income of USD13.0m or USD0.74 diluted
earning per share (down by 9% over last year), decreased compared to the net income and comprehensive income of USD14.3m or USD0.81 diluted
earning per share in the same period last year.
The company also announced Rs6.7
earning per share (EPS) for the period under review as compared with Rs4.66 EPS declared in the corresponding period of the last year.
The bank also recorded Rs 5.88
earning per share, said a press release on Thursday.
The company's
earning per share (EPS) stood at QR7.39 in 2018 H1, compared to QR7.37 for the same period of 2017.
