One must exclude multiple fetuses,
molar pregnancy and thrombophilia, if there is sudden drop in blood pressure, exclude the intra uterine death.

(2) It arises from malignant placental B-hCG secreting trophoblastic cells and typically occurs in the setting of a
molar pregnancy. Maternal metastases are rarely seen in normal pregnancy (about 1 in 50,000 live births).
Ultrasound revealed that the uterine cavity was significantly extended and filled with an echogenic soft-tissue mass that had small cystic components, most compatible with complete
molar pregnancy.
For
molar pregnancy (also known as a hydatiform mole, a rare mass that can form inside the womb during early pregnancy, resulting in an abnormal fetus), surgery is the first, and often only treatment required.
About 75% of the cases occur following a normal pregnancy, 17% following abortion, and only 5% of the cases occur following

Manual vacuum aspiration of
molar pregnancy achieves similar outcomes to electric vacuum aspiration, although it may lead to a lower incidence of uterine synechia, according to a paper published in the April edition of Obstetrics & Gynecology.
Its malignant potential is similar to that of an intrauterine
molar pregnancy.[3] Although ultrasonography is useful in the diagnosis of uterine molar pregnancies, there is a chance of missing this diagnosis in cases of an ectopic
molar pregnancy.[4],[5] We report a case of ectopic molar gestation diagnosed by ultrasonography.
