This Thursday will present an evening of chamber music as young members of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra Luka Kusztrich, Lara Kusztrich, Clara Schwaiger and Benedikt Sinko join Cypriot pianist Nicolas Constantinou to play compositions by Ludwig van Beethoven, Ernst Krenek, Hugo Wolf and Franz Schubert.

" During the concert in Llandudno, there will be an opportunity to hear a preview of Ensemble Cymru's autumn concerts when it will launch its #Love Schubert Campaign: a campaign introducing Franz Schubert's magical music to communities and schools thoughout Wales.

The concert program included works by Giuseppe Verdi, Camille Saint-Saens, Igor Stravinsky, Gabriel Faure and Franz Schubert. Anna Karmazina (soprano) and Ludwig Mittelhammer (baritone) performed at the evening.

Franz Schubert was famous for his symphonies and songs for solo voice, and his choral works such as his tuneful Mass in G Major are mostly familiar to choruses.

Chinese solo pianist Ran Jia will wrap up Abu Dhabi Classics with a modern rendition of Austrian composer Franz Schubert's work on April 19 at Manarat Al Saadiyat.

Geoffrey Block's Schubert's Reputation from His Time to Ours is the newest book on Franz Schubert in Pendragon Press's series Monographs in Musicology, which includes David Montgomery's Franz Schubert's Music in Performance: Compositional Ideals, Notational Intent, Historical Realities, Pedagogical Foundations (2003), Mark Devoto's Schubert's Great C Major: Biography of a Symphony (2011), and Martin Chusid's Schubert's Dances: For Family, Friends and Posterity (2013).

The programme for the Christmas concert will include music by the Austrian composer Franz Schubert, the American songwriter Paul Simon and well known figures in the world of choral music: Hugo Cole, Louis Halsey, Kenneth Leighton, Edmund Rubbra, and John Joubert.
