aircraft marshaller guides a JetBlue Airways Corp.
Walking into the exhibition hall at the recent International Ground Handling Conference in Doha I spied--from a distance--someone who appeared to be blindfolded and mimicking the actions of an
aircraft marshaller.
Upon noticing this extremely dangerous condition, A1C Shivley immediately instructed the
aircraft marshaller to initiate emergency aircraft shutdown procedures with the pilot.
Mr Mohammed has been associated with the airport for nearly 40 years, from his early days as an
aircraft marshaller, through various other roles, to his present post as Head of Airside Services.
