Siam Commercial Bank (
SCB) has said that it has agreed to sell the majority stake in subsidiary
SCB Life Assurance to Hong Kong-based insurance firm FWD group for THB92.7bn, according to an online report.
SCB survived the Great Depression and, thanks to committed management and directors, has now survived the Great Recession.
