Fou·ta Djal·lon
also Fu·ta Jal·lon (fo͞o′tə jə-lōn′, fo͞o′tä jä-lôN′) A mountainous region of northwest Guinea. It is the source of the headwaters of the Gambia, Niger, and Senegal Rivers.
