 (krŏk′ĭt), David Known as "Davy." 1786-1836.
American frontiersman and politician who was a US representative from Tennessee (1827-1831 and 1833-1835) and joined the Texas revolutionaries fighting against Mexico. He died at the siege of the Alamo.
