As depicted, the first phase of our joint campaign is the seizure of a lodgment area by the early-entry force.
The influence of such a brigade structure clears during movement beyond the perimeter of the lodgment area. Maneuver options on this perimeter increase at a rate of 3-to-1 for each step the brigade extends the perimeter.
