1. A device for drawing corks from bottles, consisting of a pointed metal spiral attached to a handle.
2. Sports A swimming stroke with a flutter kick in which one alternates between overarm strokes taken while face down and overarm strokes taken while on one's back. Corkscrew is usually used as a training drill.
