A driver of a Killeton Sacco matatus wondered why they are required to remove
bull bars from vehicles.
According to reports, the Law Enforcement group stops to arrest drivers who have SUVs that have modified/over-sized wheels and tires, have air-intake snorkels (installed to allow these vehicles to cross flood waters), vehicles with steel bumpers or "
Bull bars" or any unauthorized conversion or modification done on said vehicles.
However other changes impacted include certain braking systems,
bull bars, the vehicle chassis and suspension.
