Spondulics

There are a tribe of us, to begin with; then our family has been here for ages, and we have plenty of 'spondulics,' so we can rather lord it over the other fellows, and do as we like.

The very people who, over the years had earned 90pc of the spondulics, the lolly, the cash to pay for the schools, universities, hospitals, roads, and all the other amenities that the modern Wales requires.

Professional rugby is, naturally, embraced at a cost and these historic rivals eagerly locked on to the initiative to play on an annual basis to provide both much-needed match sharpness and vital spondulics.
