pigeon guillemot, pelogic cormorant, tufted puffin, horned puffin, common murre, Kittlitz's murrelet, eagles, seagulls and more.

Pigeon Guillemot Western Gull, Glaucous-winged Gull and Black Oystercatcher.
And a
pigeon guillemot flying breakfast sorties into the cold waters of Admiralty Inlet.
Best bets: Common murres, tufted puffins,
pigeon guillemots and Brandt's, pelagic and double-crested cormorants can be seen nesting on many coastal rocks and islands.
Artificial nesting boxes have been successfully used as tools for aiding in the restoration of seabird populations on the Farallones and elsewhere for seabirds such as Cassin's Auklets, Rhinoceros Auklets, Tufted Puffins, and
Pigeon Guillemots. Social attraction is based on vocalization playback of the species that is being attracted and has also been a successful tool for bringing seabirds to nesting areas.
Snowy Egrets, Brandt's Cormorants,
Pigeon Guillemots and Pelagic Cormorants also spend time there.
Such injured biological resources included bald eagles (Haliaeetus leucocephalus), black oystercatchers (Haematopus bachmani), common loons (Gavia immer), clams, common murres (Uria aalge), cormorants (Phalacrocorax, three species), cutthroat trout (Oncorhynchus clarkii), Dolly Varden trout (Salvelinus malma), harlequin ducks (Histrionicus histrionicus), harbor seals (Phoca vitulina), Kittlitz's murrelets (Brachyramphus brevirostris), marbled murrelets (Brachyramphus marmoratus marmoratus), killer whales (Orcinus orca), mussels (Mytilus edulis), Pacific herring (Clupea harengus), river otters (Lutra canadensis),
pigeon guillemots (Cepphus columba), pink salmon (Oncorhynchus gorbuscha), rockfish (Sebastes sp.), sea otters (Enhydra lutris), and sockeye salmon (Oncorhynchus nerka).

Not only did existing colonies of night herons,
pigeon guillemots, pelagic cormorants and western gulls thrive, but the island's single nesting pair of Brandt's cormorants suddenly had company: In 1994, 40 pairs of Brandt's cormorants showed up.
