Way back in 1932, the US and Canada established

Glacier National Park (Montana): The Canadian federal government may double the size of Waterton Lakes National Park, part of the
Waterton-Glacier International Peace Park. In addition, the Montana delegation is working with the park, NPCA, and local communities to help fund repairs to Going-to-the-Sun Road.
