A CARDIFF-BASED company launched earlier this year to provide sea-born transfers to wind farms in the North Sea has secured a PS90,000 financial package from Finance Wales and UK Steel Enterprise.

Coal companies include the large, sea-born coal exporters, such as BHP Billiton and Anglo America, domestic producers, including China's Shenhua, and smaller companies just entering the market, attracted by the high prices and low barriers to entry.
