The final chapter covers experimental methods for unsteady flow applications, including image-based experimental methods, unsteady airfoil experiments, quantitative analysis of animal-generated flow patters using digital particle image
velocimetry, and measurement using temperature and pressure sensitive coatings.
I used Particle Image
Velocimetry (PIV) to study air movement and 20 thermocouples, strategically placed inside the model, to measure temperature distribution.
