The Projects lie along the prolific Senegal-Mali shear zone, within the Kofi Series of the Kedougou-Kenieba Birimian
inlier. This
inlier hosts the multi-million ounce Sadiola mine and former Yatela mine, each located approximately 20km and 50km to the northwest of the Projects respectively.
