In the first experiment, a completely randomized design was used with five treatments according to the use of soil conditioners (without correction,

The fine-grained rocks are filled with veins and spherical deposits, including what appears to be
calcium sulfate - a mineral formed on Earth when water flows through rock fractures.
"These veins are composed mainly of hydrated
calcium sulfate, such as bassinite or gypsum," ChemCam team member Nicolas Mangold of the Laboratoire de Planetologie et Geodynamique de Nantes, in Nantes, France, said.
