The long arm of Crux points to Achernar, 60[degrees] away, the ninth-brightest star in the night sky.
The planet periodically transits a sun-like star 980 light years away in the southern constellation Phoenix, halfway between the southern jewels Fomalhaut ([eth] Piscis Austrini) and Achernar ([eth] Eridani).
