Roofing material, specifically glass mats used in roofing shingles, has always been a core market for Dow Reichhold," Douglas Reid, marketing manager for Dow Reichhold, explained.
Debris can encompass inert materials, such as asphalt, brick, concrete, glass, metals and dirt; organic materials, such as dimensional lumber,
roofing material, ceiling tiles, insulation and cardboard; and composites, such as carpeting, gypsum wallboard and fixtures.
If the
roofing material is beyond its useful life, it's not cost-effective to coat."
Other assorted waste, including such items as tires, paint, batteries, brick, asphalt
roofing material and motor oil, totaled 6.8 percent.
The
roofing material -- Kalzip 400 stucco embossed sheets of aluminium alloy -- provides great longevity with minimum maintenance.

He adds that "vinyl is the only
roofing material that has been demonstrated to be recyclable at the end of its life back into roofing product."
From nonwoven roll goods manufacturers and
roofing material distributors to roof installers and homeowners, demands for high quality
roofing materials are becoming increasingly stringent.
Asphalt shingles will remain the dominant
roofing material, representing more than three-fifths of the total installed squares.
