Birds such as the
black-winged stilt are residents in the wetlands throughout the year, while eagles tend to arrive in November and winter in the Sultanate.
Hsinchu Department of Economic Development Director Wu Chia-tien said the
Black-winged Stilt is a large black and white wader with long orange-red legs and a straight black bill.
Some of these may include Coot, Moorhen, Mallard, Shoveler, Teal, Grey Heron, Little Egret, Spur-winged Lapwing,
Black-winged Stilt, Francolin, Kingfisher, Goldfinch, Blackcap and Kestrel.
The scientist also found several cases of breeding among the
black-winged stilt bird, notable for its long legs, compared to its small body size.
The species observed both in 2010 and 2011 were Greater Flamingo,
Black-winged Stilt, Gadwall, Mallard, Northern Pintail, Common Coot, Kentish Plover, Indian Courser, Great Bittern and Little Bittern which constituted about 29% of the total number of species present at the lake.
Various species of Siberian birds including, the Siberian Crane, Greater Flamingo, Ruff,
Black-winged Stilt, Common Teal, Common Greenshank, Northern Pintail, Wagtail, Wagtail, Northern Shoveler, Rosy Pelican and Gadwall, migrate to Indian wetlands.
However, the expert of the
Black-winged Stilt harbours dark storms within.
Black-winged stilt typically breeds in shallow freshwater and brackish wetlands with sand, mud or clay substrates (Fasola and Alieri, 1992).

black-winged stilt.

The participants identified five species, namely,
