 (văn-zĕt′ē, vän-dzĕt′tē), Bartolomeo 1888-1927.
Italian-born American anarchist who with Nicola Sacco was convicted of a double murder and sentenced to death (1921). Despite the circumstantial nature of the evidence against them and worldwide protests against the verdict, the two were executed in 1927.
