Addressing `Unity of Ummah Conference' held here on Sunday under the PUC, clerics and religious scholars from different religious schools of thought said the prevailing challenges of
Muslim Ummah could only be settled with the unity of Islamic world.
'The
Muslim Ummah are therefore enjoined to be steadfast in propagating what Islam stands for, among which are love, good neighborliness, tolerance, accommodation, compassion, support for the needy and peaceful coexistence amongst the various communities,' he said.
ISLAMABAD -- Ulema and leading scholars from different religious organisations Thursday unanimously asked pilgrims to avoid political or religious sloganeering in Saudi Arabia during Hajj as the sacred religious obligation was symbol of unity and integrity of
Muslim Ummah. Addressing 'Unity of Ummah Conference' organized by Pakistan Ulema Council, Ulema said that Hajj-e-Baitullah was a supreme evidence of Muslim's unity and oneness.
The conference was attended by Federal Minister for Law Barrister Farogh Naseem, Minister for Religious Affairs Pir Noorul Haq Qadri, representatives of Palestinian and Saudi Embassy, leading scholars including Pir Naqeebur Rehman, Prof.Zakir ur Rehman, Maulana Asadullah Farooq, Maulana Qazi Matiullah Saeedi, Maulana Abubakar Sabri, Maulana Assedur Rehman Saeedi, Maulana Mufti Hafizur Rehman, Maulana Qasim Qasmi and others scholars stated that Ulemas and Mashayakh should play their role to resolve confronting challenges of
Muslim Ummah.
During Aitkaf, he made special prayers for the glory of Islam and the
Muslim Ummah, peace and stability in the country besides liberation of Held Kashmir, Palestine and other occupied Muslim areas and the solution of the Ummah's major problems.
Another leader has emerged on the scene who speaks as convincingly and clearly as him, and feels the pain of
Muslim Ummah currently passing through a difficult phase.
Leaders of both Muslim states agreed on solving the challenges and problems being faced by the
Muslim Ummah and taking them head on.
Special prayers for the unity of
Muslim Ummah, early liberation of occupied Kashmir from the shackles of Indian tyranny, liberation of Palestine from the occupation of Jews.

Muslim Ummah after the death of the holy prophet Hazrat Muhammad (Peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).He took the reins of caliphate into his hand in a crucial time.
The nationwide commencement of Ramadan on April 29 is a welcome development as it shows the level of cooperation among
Muslim Ummah and the need for unity.
Speaking at the Tahafuz-e-Harmain Al-Sharifain Al-Aqsa Conference, they observed that terrorist activities were meant to undermine the unity and integrity of the
Muslim Ummah.
Emphasizing the need for close collaboration between both the nations for regional peace and prosperity, he said that unity and close cooperation among the Muslim countries is imperative to overcome the challenges being faced by the
Muslim Ummah.
