Flowerless plants

Herbs are further classified on the basis of their properties, such as aromatics, poisons, antidotes, milk-producing and flowerless plants. Plants that share the same habitat, or that depend on or are associated with each other commercially or otherwise, are described and illustrated within the same frame, like the areca palm and the betel-leaf vine.

Synopsis: Mosses are small flowerless plants that usually grow in dense green clumps or mats, in damp or shady locations.
