Corn sled

A horse-drawn sled with a cutting knife jutting out from one side. The sled could be used as an alternative to the earlier described Corn knife.

There were many variations on the corn sled, but it was basically a wooden platform, usually mounted on heavy wooden runners, with one or more fixed, angled blades attached.
